Leopard + red

A midweek post! Amazing, right? Well, not really, since I put this together on the weekend and all I'm doing is press "publish" right now.

On Friday, some things that I ordered off ASOS came. Since then, I've bought another dress from there. One of the definite downsides of online shopping is that you're always ridiculously tempted to buy things.

I'd been meaning to buy a leopard print belt and darker red tights for a while. The tights are good, but the belt is a little thinner than I would've liked. Oh well, I'll work with it somehow.

Featuring a pair of shorts I bought in Melbourne earlier this year. I'm not sure why I got them (they were down to $20 from $200, probably a contributing factor), since they balloon out slightly and are a bit unflattering. The top I'm wearing? My pyjama top. This is how lazy I get on weekends.

I got my eyes tested the other week, because I've been having trouble seeing the board in lectures, and I'll be getting a pair for uni. I've looked around in stores and tried a few pairs on, I can't say I really like any of them. I'll have to keep looking. Who here wears glasses, and where did you get yours from?

  1. oh wow i love the colour of your tights! <3 awh, wearing glasses can be a bit of a bummer! i wear them and they're really quite annoying sometimes, but i'm too scared to try contacts just yet hehe. (: xxx

  2. Oh my, I've been too long away from your blog! I love the post (and I love the little changes in your blog layout, (the photo on the right etc).

The tights are amazing. I think I might go for a pair myself!! :) Good to hear you're doing well!

  3. i've got terrible eyesight haha i wear contacts mostly, but i've been trying to wear glasses more lately (i've been wearing them since i was a kid). i'd definitely recommend trying one of the online glasses stores rather than the optometrist. WAY cheaper with way cooler frames! i got a couple of pairs from clearlycontacts.com.au just recently for SO cheap and i love them! but there's also bonlook or spexclub. you just need to know your prescription (get it from your optometrist). good luck xx

  4. Red and leopard print is one of my favorite combinations. They just complement eachother so well.

  5. I love that combo! I've never been brave enough to try anything with leopard print, but I think a belt is a good start!

also, i don't have glasses (i wear contacts), but I've heard good things about Warby Parker (http://www.warbyparker.com/). I'm not sure if they ship to Australia!

  8. Loving that belt and the coordinate! I know what you mean about sooo many online shopping sites raping our wallets, it's so bad! >< I've never ordered anything from ASOS before but trust me, I almost clicked that "checkout" button a few times!

  11. Thanks for dropping me a comment, I feel like I've been lagging in leaving others comments recently.

I agree about shopping online, you feel tempted to buy more just so it all gets delivered together. And seeing beautiful outfit posts on people's blogs don't make it any easier :P

If I had to wear glasses I'm not sure where to start looking. I'd probably be tempted to go for some Ray-Ban ones, but they'll probably be really overpriced :/ xxx

  13. Brilliant belt, and I love the red tights!

I'll be no help on the glasses front, but you've got me thinking about how I should really get my eyes tested... Don't feel there's anything wrong with them myself, but I was supposed to wear reading glasses when I was younger and I just DIDN'T. Idiot. x

  24. Am I the only person who was disappointed by the quality of the leopard belt? I have the same one, and for some reason I was expecting it to have faux leopard hair on it. Maybe I'm just delusional.
