December 6, 2011

On Saturday, a couple of friends and I went to Cronulla Beach (you've probably heard of it in a bad light, but it is a nice beach). Time passes so quickly at the beach - I'd be bored out of my mind just lying on the ground at home, but on sand by the sea it's fun, somehow. It wasn't a typical beach day (only about 23C) but it was warm in the sun while not being overly hot. The water was so cold but after getting used to it hit was quite refreshing. I also managed to evade major sunburn (which is the worst).

Were you expecting more pictures? Too bad, haha. There weren't many pictures to take and all the other ones are happy snaps of my friends and I'm not sure if they want their photos on here.

This has been... a terribly short post. I just wanted to keep the (posting) ball rolling. I'm not bored of holidays yet - even if it's just a day at home online shopping (I love setting the view to "200 items" and just scrolling and scrolling and scrolling) while watching Geordie Shore (I couldn't help it. That show was addictive).

  1. oh this is so wrong! it looks too perfect, enjoy the great weather :') i'm gonna go and walk my dog in the terrible slush, haha.

  2. wow that is such a pretty blue! xx that's one thing i wish the waters in australia had- nice fresh(and not ice) tropical waters for one to wade around in x nevertheless it's peaceful and everything about oz is ultimately beautiful x

  3. Thank you for visiting my blog. And Chickpeas are so yum most people like them in hummus more than by themselves I know my mum for one doesn't like them how I eat them haha and when I told my friends they looked at me like was crazy.

Im still yet to even step on a beach this summer haha. Omg online shopping is the best especial on "200 items" its always fun :) and the weather looks great!

  4. Yes there is something completely intoxicating about a day at the beach, I have no idea where all the time goes.

    Also well done avoiding sunburn!

  5. oh, these photos are absolutely beautiful, Jane! <3 you shouldn't worry about there not being may photos, they are lovely all the same. :) i miss how blue the skies and ocean in Australia is. it's been 8 months since i was there last. hehe i'm on my holiday too! and online shopping is a great way to spend relaxing days! ;) xx

  6. I love how you wrote at the bottom "were you expecting more pictures?" I actually was. I thought there was something wrong with my browser when only two photos showed. But aside from that, Cronulla looks amazing. I haven't been there in such a long time since it's such a trek! The weather also looks lovely :3.

  7. It's odd to look at these photos (even if there are only two, aha) then look out my window and see the icky rain/snow/sludge stuff... Jealous, much?

  8. It's the perfect weather for the beach down in Melbourne right now! These photos make me miss the beach so much.
Sunburn is definitely the worst! I get burnt so badly as I'm so pale, so I have to slather sunscreen across myself constantly in the hotter weather.

  9. Oh my god, I really really love your blog! <3
Visiting Australia in the near future is one of my biggest dreams!
    Have a great weekend -

    Greetings from Germany.*

  10. Any beach looks pretty to me! Suddenly I regret ditching my friends plans to go! I feel like going now.

  11. Ohh, it looks like the dreamiest place ever! And the weather looks truly amazing!

    Lost in the Haze

  12. Ooh, Australia is so beautiful! I'm dying to visit there one day! :) I wish it was summer over here.... I miss wearing flip-flops and tanks! And you're not alone... I love just endlessly browsing through items on my favorite online shops as well... :o Sometimes I even add some pieces to my cart and pretend to actually buy all of them! :) Hehe!

  13. haha i was def scrolling down for more pictures! but there's nothing wrong with short and sweet ;) i love these pictures, they're so bright and happy! x

  14. Love that first shot! So bright and beautiful and it made me smile...
    Ronnie xo

  15. OOooh I really love that first photo. I haven't been to the beach in ages, seeing this post makes me want to leave work and head to the beach right this instant.
