Wear the pants

Just a quick post to say hi, look at my new trousers, bye. They're from Glassons, which is the only store in Sydney that can somehow suck me into buying things at full price. These pants are meant to be capris but since I'm short they're the perfect full-length on me. I know these pictures are massive, I have a tripod now so I can actually take portrait photos... hopefully my face doesn't horrify you too much.

T-shirt from Ralph Lauren and shoes from Bass, both of which you've probably already seen before.

It's technically not cool enough here yet to wear pants. We're having a bit of an autumn heatwave at the moment. I'm over this, I want to break out the winter clothes and wear this outfit with a trench coat.

Alos, I'm sure you've heard but Google Reader is shutting down soon (as far as I understand, GFC/Blogger reading list is different?). But just a reminder that you can follow via Bloglovin' as well.

  1. Ah these trousers look amazing Jane! I'm yet to find a cropped trouser that really suits me like these do you. So jealous of your autumn heatwave, I can't believe we're four days away from the British summertime and there's snow on the ground! x

    1. Haha aw well if it makes you feel any better I'd need to wear more than a trenchcoat over it when it gets to mid winter!

  6. I seriously love the way you dress - those pants look fantastic on you! I always have trouble finding a nice pair of trousers, so I am always stuck wearing skinny jeans or shorts =___= Spring is taking forever to reach D.C. so I am still stuck bundling up everytime I go out.

  7. Oh I'm soooo confused because of the google reader thing T__T Why hasn't google/blogger notified me about it but bloglovin has? Anyway, your trousers look great! Hope you get to wear them soon :)

  10. It's quite a reasonably prices store so I think it is okay, especially as they look great! I usually am not keen to buy things full price either, clothes can be so expensive, espeically in Australia.
I get what you mean about compulsion when photographing things, like for the blog especially - not that I even have time to post all the photos that get taken! It's like the blog (and my facebook where I bombard my friends with travel photos too!) is some carefully curated representation of myself...the internet is interesting because it cahnges constantly and people haven't been analysing it for centuries like a lot of other things!
And yay for tripod, I don't have a tripod...when I need to take photos of self just have to get super creative and put my camera on random objects
