Jumping into spring

Jumper c/o Joules / Glassons pants / Bass loafers.

What I wore the other day for studying and checking out Art & About! New jumper from Joules, a British brand I hadn't heard of before. They sort of specialise in country clothing, and some of their stuff is a bit too country to be relevant for me - I'm a Sydney girl, there's only so much mud in my life. But they also have loads of nice classics - striped tops, button downs, lots of navy and red. This golden yellow colour is new for me, but it goes so well with navy I felt like it was the next logical step. My favourite thing about it might not be noticeable in these photos - the odd contrast navy cuff on one of the sleeves! These trousers were left a bit unloved this winter (it was the winter of black skinny jeans), they've stretched a bit with wear and washing and become more relaxed fit than I'd intended them to be.

This is definitely not the outfit for the weather we had today - 30C! The same predicted for tomorrow, but it will be a short-lived heatwave because temperatures go back down to the low 20s on Wednesday. Phew, not ready for it to get so hot so quickly!

Being a Sydney girl myself, I totally know what you mean about today's heat wave. Finger crossed it continues!

  8. I love that jumper! Even though I only have one mustard item of clothing I love how they look, especially for autumn. I can barely function properly when it's 30+ degrees so I'm glad that the weather's going back to normal too, haha.

    1. Thanks! I bet you could, to be honest I don't see what would stop a person from being able to pull off a colour - I used to think I couldn't wear yellow either.

Melbourne hasn't hit 30 degrees yet. I think when it does, every one will be swarming the beach!

  22. Ah gee Jane that's a killer look you have going on. Reckon I've only seen you in black jeans before, it really suits you. Hard to see the navy cuff thing (kinda looks like a bracelet) but that's a cool detail to add in. Joules is a bit country isn't it, but it's fairly well known in the UK. I had some knitwear on the other day but it's too hot for it again.
