Laziness

Urban Outfitters BDG flannel shirt / Jack & Jones cardigan via ASOS / UNIQLO jeans / Bass loafers.

Usually I try to hide it with my pose, but my secret's out now. I am the most knock-kneed person I know. Anyway, that's just a fun fact, this post isn't about my knees. I haven't worn this flannel shirt many times since I bought it, unfortunately, I'd forgotten how comfortable it is. I actually slept in it during my US trip (when I got it), because I hadn't packed a shirt to sleep in (I was so keen on saving suitcase space for shopping my thought process went something like I'll just sleep in my day clothes which ended up a little uncomfortable). I wore my loafers so that I didn't look completely hobo. I recently got them resoled but they must have clamped them in a certain way where they roughed up the inside back heel of the shoe, so they've been scratching up my feet again. Maybe I could sandpaper it down...

  4. Great check shirt. I'm looking for a scarf with that very pattern for winter! Always think the backdrop on your outfit posts are lovely stuff! Nice idea with getting them resoled, I should really think of doing that with a few pairs of mine! Hoping the scratching doesn't last for too long, always a pain that.

  6. I like the cardigan! :]

Perhaps you can play whack-a-loafer, find the exact spot that is annoying, put (preferably) a leather cloth on it, otherwise something like a towel and hammer it down. Works wonders :]
I used to do it alot when I worked in the shoe store, but then I had like a special holder to put the shoe on, leather cloths of all kinds and a wooden hammer :P

  8. Love the outfit. The flannel + cardigan combination is so classic. And definitely sandpaper them down, or do the ice-stretch trick - future you will thank you for it. It's not worth the pain!

  9. Loving the outfit, Jane! I especially like that flannel shirt, I've always been keen on one but worry about looking too much like a lumberjack (or should I say jill?).

  11. Admittedly I do the whoe day close to sleep in thing sometimes, it is a good space saver. Belts need to come off though.

  13. I have one leg that bends slightly different to the other, so I always pose with one leg bent and one not haha. I have a checked shirt that I hardly wear but it is so so comfy. I might wear it tomorrow!
