Rainy day a couple of weeks ago.

Ate Belly Bao in Goodgod. They're alright, but the prices are a bit steep for tiny baos.

Went to the Asian Cup final between Australia and South Korea. We got worse seats this time but the atmosphere was great, it was a full house. Australia was 1 up at full time and then Korea scored in injury time, I thought I was going to die. But the Socceroos won it in the end. It was such a good tense match to be there for.

It's been coolish for the last few weeks but beach weather was back today so we took advantage of it. We changed things up and went to Coogee; I think I still prefer Bondi, it's cliche but I love seeing that vast expanse of beach as the bus turns the corner there.

I've been such a couch potato recently, i've just been watching Game of Thrones. I'm obsessed right now and also trying to think of how to incorporate it into a new blog post, hahaha. Awesome photos :) looks like a lot of fun
ReplyDeleteLOL the life of a blogger!
DeleteSo nice that you got to go to the beach! Remember that other people are stuck in winter wonderlands and can't escape...

The food looks good and it's making me hungry!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I'm doing such boring stuff that I have absolutely nothing to post on my blog ahah

Love your yellow sweater/navy skirt combo. :)
DeleteOh wow, it must've been amazing to be there when the Socceroos won! I watched it from home and was still on edge during that extra time, haha. Those baos look good too, shame about the price though.
ReplyDeleteI think it took 5 years off my life haha!
DeleteYour posts make me actually miss Sydney, something I didn't think was possible. I can feel the Australian Summer just looking at your photos!
ReplyDeleteyou big into the scoocer then Jane?

Love some soccer, I have a soft spot for the Australian national team haha.
DeleteAh, that picture of a beach is nice. I can't think of the last time I stepped foot on an actual beach. One thing I don't miss is the over crowed beach. Yes, I'm that snob!

I didn't know you were such a soccer fan! Must have been to nice to watch with a great atmosphere!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! That beach looks absolutely amazing...makes me wish it was summer here! :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Everytime I'm on that bus to Bondi and you make that descend, and the moment of panic as to which stop to get because you can't see where the flags will be! (Well thats my predicament everytime anyway).

The belly bao look really good!! x
ReplyDeleteHappy vibes
I'm not a huge sports fan at all but I would just love to go to some sort of live game like above. I bet the atmosphere was just incredible and such a lovely way to waste an afternoon. xx
ReplyDeleteYou are like me! The food quality has to match the price otherwise it just OKAY no?
ReplyDeleteLook at that beach!!!!!
Ooooh, those bao look so tasty! Shame about the price -__-"
ReplyDeleteCan't believe you were at the final! I'm not a football fan but it would have been incredible to be in that stadium.... the noise through the TV was insane
ReplyDeleteIn the last photo - is that Coogee or Bondi beach? Because it looks like that one I always see in ads about Sydney. I would really love to visit Sydney (and Melbourne!) but Australia is just so far away and it doesn't seem to make sense to visit for a few weeks - seems like you really need to at least go for 3 to make the trip worth it, and I just don't have that kind of time :(

It is Coogee, but it looks a bit like Bondi here which might be the one you see in ads of Sydney! Australia definitely is far away from everything, same for me, whenever I leave the country I feel like I need at least a month to make it worth it.
Deletei haven't actually eaten at the new restaurant at goodgod since the dip closed down but i'd like to check it out one of these days. RIP the dip though, their desserts were awesome and they used to have an amazing grilled watermelon burger too!
