After a long hard pharmacology study session (during which there was probably more gossip than pharmacology happening), we decided to reward ourselves with some Italian food at Vapiano. Somewhere in the back of my mind I'd known that Sydney had a Vapiano, but I'd never remembered to go.
The way it works is that you get a plastic swipe card when you step through the door, and you go up to different counters to order your food (swiping your card there), where it's made on the spot. When you leave, you give the card back to the cashier and pay all at once. So basically it's a fancy and glorified food court. I loved it though, unfortunately I couldn't go in as hard as I wanted to because I'd spent the entire day up to that point gorging myself and wasn't very hungry. The pizza and bruschetta I shared were good, so I'm wanting to go back to try their pasta and desserts.
