Art this year

I was going through my posts putting together a 2018 recap, and realised I went to a fair few art museums/exhibitions this year, most of the photos from which I buried in my miscellaneous posts. I thought it would be nice to recap them in in a separate post because there were a few I quite enjoyed!

The Hook Up Plan

The Hook Up Plan is a French Netflix romcom series that came out the other week. It's about a Parisian woman, Elsa, whose friends secretly set her up with an escort to help her get over her ex. It's a really fun watch, the characters are quite likeable, and I really really enjoyed Elsa's outfits.

London in March

But it's December now Jane! I know, I've been terrible with getting these posts up, but this is the last of them. I was in London for a few days before and after my trip to Morocco in March. This is the fourth time I've been to London, so I wasn't in a particular rush to check things off my list or photograph everything. It was nice to take things at a slower pace.

Three dishes for people who can't cook

One of the biggest challenges when I moved out of home last year was learning how to cook for myself. I love to eat, but I've never enjoyed the process of cooking. I'm clumsy in the kitchen, and depending on the kind of shifts I'm doing at work I don't always have a lot of time to make dinner when I come home. I'm slowly improving though, and below are three proper dishes* I can reliably make myself.

Netflix recs

I got Netflix at the beginning of this year, which has been good and bad. It's now much easier to find shows to marathon, but I gotta say that my productivity has steeply decreased. I do watch a lot of trash on there as background noise, but here are some TV shows and movies I would actually recommend to others.

December 4, 2018

We finally come to the end of my Morocco posts from March this year. I'm sorry if you're sick of them, but I needed to get them off my chest.

Marrakesh was the city I was looking forward to the most, and probably the kind of place most people think of when they think Morocco. It's probably the most touristy and modern of the cities we visited on that trip. And it's awesome. We spent most of our day and a half there in the Medina, which is the old, walled part of the city, but I would've loved to have stayed longer to explore the other districts. It's got an amazing atmosphere that's hard to describe, so I'll just try and show you.
