Pizza, Duchamp, and a spot of shopping

I have been stressed lately, and my friend told me I needed to take some time out to properly relax in a way that didn't involve Netflix and ice cream, so yesterday afternoon I had some me-time.

I feel like this is one of my favourite views of Sydney, looking back towards the city when you've crossed the Domain. It's underrated.

I came across a pop-up food truck and bought myself a pizza which I ate on a park bench. The weather was cold but the pizza was warm in my lap. I polished it off while watching the lunchtime joggers (I looked at every one of them in the eye).

I went and saw the Duchamp exhibit at AGNSW.

My favourite was the hat rack, it looks like a cute little sea creature.

I swung by the Cos sale afterwards and picked up a replacement striped t-shirt for a good price.

Sat and read in Koko Black for a while - best hot chocolate in Sydney, believe me!

Then I bought another top in Uniqlo - I know it looks like I'm just stress shopping now but I promise I've been meaning to get a striped button down in this exact colour for ages!

After I went home I went for a jog and ate vegetables for dinner. I felt rejuvenated indeed.

Paronella Park

I spent two days up in Cairns this past week. I was up there for a one-day course, but I had the day before free, so I decided to hire a car and drive somewhere. I thought about the Daintree, but I didn't quite have enough time to get up there and back, but on some research I came across this place called Paronella Park, which was about an hour and a half south of Cairns. It was built in the 1930s by a Spanish immigrant, and it is amazing. It reminded me of Quinta da Regeleira in Sintra, which is one of my favourite places in the world.
